Ms Kiera Lindsey - Resident tutor, inaugural Teach for Australia Fellow and Program Leader for the Teaching in the Community breath program at Ormond College
Topic: ‘Possession & Dispossession: A History of bride-theft in England, Ireland and Australia in the nineteenth century.’

Through the story of convicts and three nineteenth century abductors — one English, one Irish and one Australian — Kiera Lindsey explores the forgotten phenomenon of 'abduction'. In 1848 Kiera's great, great, great-aunt was abducted by an Irishman in Sydney.
