Graduate students undertaking (or planning to undertake) both research degrees (i.e. PhD, MA) or coursework (i.e. MBA, JD) are welcome to apply for graduate residence in the College. The College can only accept students from the University of Melbourne or its subsidiaries, which include Melbourne Business School (MBS) and the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM).

Application Process

• Complete the Graduate application form, placing Ormond as your first preference. Mail, scan or fax the form to the College, along with the supporting documentation requested on the form.
• Applications are reviewed by the Dean of Students. Suitable applicants will be offered a selection interview.
• Following the interview, the College will contact you (usually in December for Semester 1 courses) to inform you whether you have been offered a place for 2010.

Normal graduate applications for Semester 1, 2010 close on Friday, December 4, 2009. However, the College accepts applications for graduate residence on a continuous basis in recognition of the unusual timing of many graduate programs.
