The 2010 College fees, subject to Council approval on 26 November, have now been set. Ormond's standard undergraduate fee is $19,619 (incl GST), based on the option to pay in two semester instalments: one by 15 March and one by 15 August 2010. You may also choose the option to pay the annual fee by 15 March which discounts the standard fee. You may also choose the option to pay eight equal instalments for a total fee of $20,028 (incl GST).
The standard fee includes a 35 week period of residence. The 35 weeks include the teaching weeks of each semester, the mid-semester non-teaching period and the four week period comprising ‘swotvac’ and examinations in each semester.
There are additional charges for students: an enrolment fee of $550, an Orientation Program fee (to be confirmed, $430 in 2009), a Students’ Club membership fee (to be confirmed, $220 in 2009), and a bond for room condition, proxy access and keys, and academic gown hire. This undergraduate student bond ($1,200) is refundable upon completion of the College year.
Graduate residence contracts are tailored to the length of course and course start dates, and vary depending on the level of accommodation. Graduate contracts usually run from February to November inclusive, unless the course finishes earlier. Students may arrange to stay in the College during the summer recess by arrangement with the Dean of Studies.
