Who Can Help

    The College maintains an open Reception office from 9am to 12 midnight to assist students and visitors with any questions or problems they may have. A Safety Warden is on duty from midnight and a Duty Tutor is on call throughout the night to ensure assistance is provided in cases of illnes or emergency. Senior staff are on call 24 hours.

    General day staff are available to assist in several areas: House, Finance, Catering, etc.

    The Deans' Office staff are the chief advisers on individiual student matters. The Deans and Community Counsellor are resident and have an open door policy for all students. The Dean of Students is responsible for the overall good order of the College and pastoral care of students. The Dean of Studies manages the Academic Program and monitors the academic progress and academic welfare of all students. The Community Counsellor is the first port of call on welfare matters and is available by appointment for private consultations. A non-resident professional Counsellor is also available by appointment.

    Deans' Office staff have also established effective liaison with University Services such as Student Health, Counselling, Chaplaincy, The Study Skills Unit and other services.

    Members of the Senior Common Room have expertise in a number of academic disciplines and are ready to provide support and consultations.

    There is always someone ready to help on a personal and professional level or just be there to listen if you feel the need to unload on any subject.
