Supporting Ormond
Bequests/The 1881 Club

Francis Ormond, John MacFarland, Frank Raleigh, Rutherford Kaye Scott and Davis McCaughey are just a few of the many Ormondians who have contributed significantly to the College through a bequest.

Every bequest - large and small - makes a real difference to the well-being of current and future residents.

A bequest is an opportunity to make a tangible and lasting gift to the College. If you are considering a bequest to Ormond College, or have already done so, please email the Advancement Office or contact us by telephone T: 61 3 9344 1269 to discuss your preferences and intentions.

A bequest donor can become a member of The 1881 Club which was formed in June 2005 as a joint initiative of the College Council and the OCA.

The 1881 Club:

  • acknowledges and honours those who remember the College in their will
  • seeks to emphasise the importance of bequests for the future of the College
  • promotes the leadership of society members in encouraging others to make similar commitments to the College

Membership of the Club is open to anyone who makes a bequest to Ormond College.
