2019 Australia Day Honours

Celebrating Ormondians

We extend our congratulations to the following members of the Ormond community who received 2019 Australia Day honours for their outstanding contributions to society:

The Rev Professor Emeritus Robert Gribben AM (1977)
Made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the Uniting Church in Australia in ecumenical relations and theological studies.

Dr Adrian Hibberd AM (1965)
Made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to medicine, and to medical research in the field of renal transplantation.

Professor Catriona McLean AO (1979)
Made an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to medicine in the field of academic and clinical neuropathology, and as a role model and mentor.

Mr Ross McPherson AM (1969)
Made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to print and digital media, and to the community.

Mr Stuart Wood AM QC (1986)
Made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the legal profession, particularly in the area of industrial relations.
